Building on our past experience of working in voluntary sector campaigns and marketing teams, we have over 10 years’ experience as freelance consultants, developing ways of working that deliver results, finding the best ways to help organisations improve their effectiveness.

Jim Coe and Tess Kingham are specialists in providing strategy and evaluation support to organisations engaged in campaigning, advocacy and social change.

Together – and working with colleagues – we provide training, political advice and support in strategy development. In addition, we offer expertise in designing and supporting monitoring and political intelligence systems, as well as in conducting campaign evaluations.

Tess KinghamTess has worked in marketing and advocacy within the voluntary sector, including in organisations concerned with international development, animal welfare and children’s issues, and has insider experience of the political system having been an MP from 1997-2001 during which time she sat on the House of Commons Select Committees for International Development and Strategic Exports (Arms controls). While in Parliament, she successfully achieved changes to UK fire safety legislation and, with the Cystic Fibrosis Trust, successfully lobbied Government for a national CF screening programme for babies
